Utah Valley University PRSSA has been chosen to host this year’s PRSSA Regional Conference. It will be a three-day event from March 2nd to the 4th. For many years, UVU’s PR program has been recognized as one of the top in the nation, and because of that this conference promises to be nothing short of extraordinary.

“Utah Valley University is the perfect location for this year’s regional conference,” said Britney Bromley Nuehring, President, UVU PRSSA. “Our regional conference committee has been working for months to put together a conference to remember, one that you won’t want to miss.”

The conference is set to begin at the Sorenson Student Center on Thursday, March 2 at 6:00 pm. Dinner will be provided and Keith Green, Vice President of Marketing and Commercial Sales at Guinness World Records will be the key note speaker. Activities including indoor climbing, bowling, and karaoke will follow.

Friday will include speakers such as Victoria Leigh Ward, National VP of Chapter Development from Biola University, Jill Chappell, Senior Editorial Producer at CNN, and Matt Prince, PR at Taco Bell. Throughout the day there will be break-out sessions with other renowned professionals who will give attendees a chance to get up-close and personal.

Attendees will also have the option to head to Salt Lake to watch the Utah Jazz play against the Brooklyn Nets at the Vivint Smart Home Arena. Dinner will be provided at the stadium while Chris Bailey, the Director of VIP Services for the Utah Jazz speaks to those in attendance.

Saturday morning, we will hear from Lindsey Petersen who works Imagine Dragons Non-Profit—The Tyler Robinson Foundation. Closing the conference will be Jane Dvorak, PRSA National Chair and Owner.

UVU PRSSA was fortunate enough to host the PRSSA Regional Conference in 2015. The event was an overwhelming success and sold out very quickly. The PR Elevated Conference is a must attend event for PR students and professionals in 2017. Space is limited and is fill quickly.
