Sadly, we will not be going to Tortola.
he two recent hurricanes that landed in the BVI this year, Irma and Maria, did
massive damage to the British Virgin Islands. As we wish our friends and collegues
in the BVI a speedy recovery from the devestation, we have had to seek and alter-
native for our upcoming Underwater Video and Photo Storytelling class.
The BVI is not allowing people onto the island unless they are part of an organized
relief effort and/or are self sufficient. As soon as we can safely bring a group to
Tortola, we will create a documentary class around the restoration of the coral nurs-
ery we were planning on working with.
In the mean time, we are setting up a class in the Philippines. Details, dates, and
other info will be available soon. Please let me know if you are interested in joining
us for a week of documentary filmmaking and photography.
