It started in 2008 – UTD was born.
And the world embraced us. And
argued with us. And supported
us. And watched as we grew, and
grew, and added instructors, and
added an equipment line, and expanded into the far reaches of the
world.
We moved from two kitchens and
a garage to a small office in Carlsbad to a bigger office in Carlsbad
to a really bigger office in San
Diego.
Now we’ve taken the biggest step
so far. Five great divers and business
people from around the world are
poised to bring UTD to the next level.

Meet the UTD Regional Partners:
Jon Edwardsen, UTD Instructor Trainer based near Washington, DC.
Michael Deckert, UTD Instructor Trainer, based in Germany.
Max Wang, UTD Diver based in Taiwan.
Darryl Owen and Marine Canac, UTD Instructors based in Dubai.
In partnership with UTD HQ, this team will be the leaders in the regional
areas, distributing UTD Equipment to local dive centers and dealers,
managing the UTD Education system, and providing customer support
for Equipment, Education, and the new website in a local time zone and
in a local language.
