UTD Project Korea 2014 By Andrew Georgitsis U nified Team Diving (UTD) is unique in that we are a training agency, equipment manufacturer and we conduct projects throughout the world. UTD has a progressive training structure with a full lineup of recreational, technical, overhead, rebreather, professional and instructor classes. We also manufacture and distribute a full line of scuba diving equipment to support our training philosophy. And we offer a full range of adventures, expeditions and scientific projects throughout the world. UTD instructors, members, and students actively participate in these projects. The projects are accessible to all levels of diver. Our annual wreck week adventure is in depths from 20’/6m to 200’/60m and beyond. Our expeditions to the Graf Zeppelin and Chuuk Lagoon were for UTD members that have more advanced technical training. We also are very involved with ocean conservation and we actively participate in scientific research projects in Mexico (The Pit), or locally in California, as with the Hall City Cave project done in conjunction with California Academy of Sciences. This most recent Korean scientific diving project that UTD Korea is continually involved in is in conjunction with Korean Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST). This is a very exciting project be- UTD Instructors Andrew Georgitsis and Jason Parkprep for the dive.
