T
uscany is an Italian region full of historic sites; it was
inhabited by Etruscan people who sailed the Mediterranian sea colonizing neighboring coasts. We can still find
traces of this history on our local dive sites, framed by
amazing natural landscape.
In this pleasant coast, on Argentario promuntory, thanks
to Simone and Stefania’s love of the region and vast
underwater experience, Argentario Divers was founded.
Their irrepressible enthusiasm and experience and their
deep knowledge of sea give every client a rich diving experience. Argentario Divers is the region’s UTD Leadership Training Center.
Simone Nicolini
Stefania Mensa is the administrative director, PADI instructor and local dive guide. She was born in Argentario
and started working in local dive community in 1997
when she started to manage the Argentario Village scuba
school. Several years later she began a partnership with
Leonardo Olmi, an underwater photographer and journalist, and began her career reporting for scuba magazines.
Her most important experience was the collaboration
with the Pellican Explorer Team. They realized the Underwater Sea House project, remaining underwater for
ten consecutive days. Two years later she improved her
results lengthening the stay to 15 days.
