In this tiny corner, I’m going to share
with you the one and only secret to improve your
drawing skills
(I’ll be posting my first portrait and one of the
latest’s)
As you can see, on the right, my very first portrait
drawing attempt, it was not a good one, but I was
extremely happy with the result, because I never be-
lieved that I had it in me, I was always afraid to try
and fail, it didn’t occur to me that I could get better.
Now, the one on the left is one of my latest draw-
ings, you can obviously see the difference, all what
it takes is just trying and not be afraid of the results
To draw well, you have to practice, a lot. That is the
secret, the only secret.
The more you draw the more confident you’ll be
with a pen in hand.
So grab that pen and try, draw anything, shapes,
faces, draw from magazines or photographs, from
nature. Stay with it, draw every chance you get.
Last, keep in mind that practice makes
perfection.
