the limit? What about when you’re ‘totally wasted’? Join us and experience how alcohol impairs
a person’s balance, vision, reaction time and judgment while you’re under the influence of

3.30 pm Future Talk – The future of law and justice – Dr Noeleen McNamara
‘’The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers’’. This, of course, is one of Shakespeare’s most
famous lines. The play is Henry VI part 2, and the background to the statement was a rebellion by
Jack Cade in 1450 against the King. ‘Dick the Butcher’, one of Jack’s henchmen, speaks the line.
The line has been interpreted in multiple ways (as any quick Google search will reveal). But this
talk will consider if it is literally true – do we need lawyers in a world of digital disruption. The
answer is yes – more than ever – and the presentation will reveal why this is and the ways that a
USQ law degree will equip graduates to deal with such change. B434, Level 4,
