PRINTMAKING with Stephen Spurrier
$160 per person includes lunch and materials
In this one-day workshop, you will get a taste for printmaking
and have the opportunity to explore what’s on offer inside the
USQ printmaking studio.
Work with Stephen, the USQ printmaking master, to explore
a range of simple methods for creating stunning images on
paper to take home. You will also learn a variety of different
plate making methods including crayon resist and sugar lift.
The workshop will also cover intaglio printing techniques
including viscosity, stencilling processes and various screen-
printing techniques.
No experience is necessary
but this workshop is not for
the faint hearted!

Stephen Spurrier is the
USQ Associate Lecturer
of Printmaking and has a
Master of Fine Art (RMIT).
His work is in state galleries
and many other public
collections including
Parliament House in
Canberra, Artbank and
the Museum of Modern Art,
New York.
