THE COMMON TERMS
GWC: means guy with camera. You
will read this term in a model’s review.
This means the photographer isn’t
really good at what he is doing. Don’t
pay for a shoot with someone who has
more than one review where the model
qualifies him/her as a GWC.
You can work with them on a TF basis
or on a payed basis ( you being paid)
but if you pay for a shoot with them,
you’ll most likely be disappointed.
( some people use GWC to describe a
photographer who’s only interested in
nudes/sexy shoots. If this is one of
theses photographers, stay away)
Fitting: Is the session that takes
place before the photo shoot where
the clothes to be modelled are fit
onto the model. Based on the
model's particulars, the clothes are
usually altered to fit. When you go to
a fitting, be prepared to stand around
partially clothed all day long, in front
of several people. These people will
usually be stylists, seamstresses and
designers.
( this is mostly for fashion shoots)
