services. Some patients choose to leave our office and test
the waters. Our patients return often after a hard lesson that
there are no guarantees in the ability to see the same dentist
and/or realize the quality of care is often inconsistent.
Dr. Barge has not experienced a big change with the new
Health Care Reform Law since the current laws only
require coverage for dependent children, which requires
insurance to cover only the most basic needs. However,
there is a growing concern that with medical insurance
costs becoming more prohibitive that the benefits for dental
policies will suffer to offset the costs.
Dr. Barge strives to have a professional staff that offers the
best care for her patients. She screens her applicants carefully looking for employees that share a common philosophy of providing superior care her patients. She looks carefully at their education, experience and their ability to be a
team player. A good dental practice relies on a competent
staff to provide the best overall care to each patient.
As a working wife and mom, Dr. Barge finds there is never
truly enough time for work or home. There is always
something or someone waiting. A business truly is like
having another child. It demands your attention as much
as a young child does. This being said, Dr. Barge found it
necessary to take a different, more practical approach, like
the one she has now. Knowing that her family is happy and
her clients feel well cared for let’s Dr. Barge know she is
being successful and making it work. You cannot anticipate
problems in advance, create a schedule that gives time back
to your family and still allow enough time for your practice
