The U . S . Kids Golf Foundation has been instrumental in my development , and I ’ m so grateful for the resources and training they ’ ve provided . It has made such an impact on hundreds of kids throughout Ireland .
At the start of my professional career , as I was nearing the end of my PGA training , I began looking for the best methods to run kids programs . Upon learning about the Coaches Institute and becoming certified through their classes , I now had the collective knowledge of what to do . The programs I ’ ve instituted at my club are such a success that I ’ ve incorporated more of them , including now running Local Tours , installing the Longleaf Tee System at my facility , and even organizing the U . S . Kids Irish Open .
I can ’ t thank U . S . Kids enough for helping me realize my dreams .

I ’ ve long believed that golf could be a force for good for the kids of Kenya and all of
East Africa . Once I became connected with the U . S . Kids Golf Foundation , I understood how this vision could become a reality . Through various training and learning programs , it has helped me learn and implement best practices for golf development , even in a population that ’ s been underprivileged and underserved for many years . The curriculum is universal , as is the love of the game among kids .
In a relatively short amount of time our work has made Golf for Kids the largest golf program in East Africa , and the Kenya Golf Union has partnered with U . S . Kids to implement these programs throughout the nation . There is much work to be done , but we ’ re off to a fantastic start . The trajectory of golf in
East Africa is promising and vibrant !
