 Longleaf Tee System
THE WORLD RENOWNED LONGLEAF TEE SYSTEM
The forward tees on most courses are too long for many players . Research shows that a course should be no more than 4,400 yards in length in order for a player who drives the ball 150 yards in the air to reach greens in regulation and enjoy the game . If your course does not offer tees this length or shorter , many players are not being provided an experience that “ fits ” their game .
The American Society of Golf Course Architects and U . S . Kids Golf foundations are partnering in an industry-wide effort to help many players of all ages enjoy and grow and stay in the game . Rees Jones , the U . S . Open doctor , is a national spokesman and he recently implemented the scaled tee program at Medinah # 2 . Join the growing list of clubs that are making golf more fun and rewarding .
