Floral Hall The upper two floors and an extension- balcony, are designed as a restaurant spaces which gives an opportunity to accommodate more people who want to dine in Covent Garden. This restaurant is little bit more special because it is very open and people can see all the floors from any part of the building This design gives an opportunity for people who are dining to see performances held on the ground floor and also everyone to enjoy the beautiful roof framework that Jubilee market has. The balcony is a place where people can come to dine or just enjoy the view of Covent Garden square from another perspective, also this balcony faces the main area where all the street performances are happening. • • • • Balcony visuals New 04 Restaurant first floor day time 05 Restaurant first floor night time Second floor Existing New New structure added to the old one 06 Ground floor- Market space which changes into a performance and public space and is open 24hrs. The space can be approached from any side of the market building Mezzanine floor- same structure and layout only the ceiling is going to be higher because the first floor will move slightly. Reason for that is that the space would be more open and visitors from mezzanine floor could see the whole building. The floor will be used as a flower shop. First floor- Part of the restaurant with private dinning spaces. This floor will have a hole cut thought the floor in the middle so that the ground floor/market and performances would be visible, also the roof and the beautiful framework. This floor will have a balcony on the side instead of Daytime glass canopies so that people could enjoy the weather and street performances that might appear. Second floor- This is a new floor to extend the restaurant area. This space is more private and only for restaurant visitors. From this floor the whole building will be visible and it will also have the same shape hole in the middle.
