The aim of the project is
to redesign a vacant piano
manufacturing factory built near
Camden Town Underground, to
create a mixed use environment
for ROLI - a design-led music
technology company.
A new programme of WORK - LIVE
- PLAY will be introduced to meet
the needs of the local people and
ROLI, the principal stakeholder.
The design language will explore
ways of connecting new and old
architecture with translucent space
with division methods and shapes
inspired by ROLI Grand Piano
Concept. The building’s history
of piano manufacturing will be
brought back to life by ROLI - with
the future of piano manufacturing.
