A Year of Resilience

There was a great article I read recently that insisted 2021 was the year of resilience rather than a year of quarantine , social distancing and coronavirus . Resilience allows us to overcome challenges and is what allows us to keep moving forward .
The last two years has significantly impacted the residential industry in a number of ways . We have seen an unprecedented demand for building materials , dramatic price increases across the board and lengthy delays in supplies . However , we have also seen how our clients are embracing the importance of home and are keen to invest the time to ensure the design of their home is more fluid to meet the demands of home quarantine and multigenerational living .
2021 has seen a progression in Urbane ’ s journey to home as we settle into our new office premises , welcomed new and returning team members , welcomed so many new clients into the Urbane Family and experienced the joy of handing over beautiful new builds and a heritage restoration to clients .
Enjoy this Christmas issue of the Urbane Gazette - celebrating the moments that keep us moving forward . We will be taking a short break from 23 rd December 2021 to 4 th January 2022 and look forward to sharing more of our journey to home with you in 2022 .
