When Winter Meets Summer
Who says you can’t be a kid again? Certainly not the founders of MLK Ski Weekend! For 19 years, MLK Ski Weekend has joined Black professionals over an extended Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday vacation featuring 20 themed activities, real snow, and fun on the slopes! But this year, they’re getting out of the cold and into the snow at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, OH from Saturday, June 20, 2015 – Sunday, June 21, 2015.
Cedar Point is known as the roller coaster capital of the world! The park is located on Lake Erie outside of Cleveland, OH. Cedar Point features 72 rides, including 16 roller coasters. Its newest roller coasters are GateKeeper (2013) and Rougarou (new this summer). Other amusement park attractions include a white-sand beach, an outdoor water park called Soak City, an indoor water park called Castaway Bay, Challenge Park Go Cart area , petting zoo, arcade, games, water rides, live shows, food, drinks and more!
