His new single Bay Anthem, is a highly
anticipated jam that dropped on 10/2, one
that he likes to describe as an "inside peak of
the Bay from an urban perspective". Mr Loc
Fo Real's Bay Anthem music video is
premiered exclusively on hiphopdx on 10/2,
Loc takes the viewer on a ridealong through
the streets that he calls home, and of course
we are treated to a trove of fast cars and
beautiful women, and we also see everything
from the grandeur of the Bay Bridge over
Treasure Island to the Coit Tower overlooking
San Francisco and all the way down to the
streets of Oakland, Palo Alto, San Jose and
more.
Mr Loc Fo Real doesn't consider himself to
be following a single genre. He likes to think
of himself as a well rounded "hybrid rapper".
Whether it be club, gangster, or whatever
comes to mind, he's not afraid to
incorporate an eclectic blend of original
beats, mainstream yet intricate elements,
coupled with commanding heartfelt powerful
vocals, all delivered and described with a
smooth but big voice and sound. His stage
