TOMIKE OGUGUA

Nelson Mandela once said “There is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.”

In my own life, I’ve found that to be reality, as my happiest days have been spent following in the direction of my true passion. In connecting with Tomiké Ogugua, it’s clear that things are very much the same for him. Ogugua has become a dominant force in the entertainment industry. He’s been seen in many capacities throughout television, theater, and film, but his hard work has allow him to develop a strong association with the series Power. Due to return to television June 25, Ogugua will

be taking part in season four of the hit television series that also stars Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, & Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. “Power” is only a mere fraction of his career. Ogugua has made tremendous strides in the world of theater, and his work in that world has undoubtedly made him the powerful actor he is today.

We’re all looking forward to the return of Power, but our connection with Tomiké has an even bigger focus. Through this piece, we are strongly promoting the power in passion. We always aim to promote the idea of following your heart in life, and definitely in career. Through the artists we feature, and surely through Tomiké, we

want readers to see there is true happiness in following their passion, whatever that may be. He’s been able to inspire a world of followers through the things he’s done in career, and the things he’s done in his time outside of the entertainment world. Along with his work in stage, television, and film, we’ll discuss the work he’s done with children through after school programs, as well as the things he wants to do moving forward.

U.G. Digital Mag: We’re so grateful for the opportunity in talking today. You have some really amazing things going on, and it’s just a big blessing. Obviously, “Power” is coming back soon, but you have so
