the different networks.

Coko Lynn: Right. Everything is strictly business with many to the other agencies, whereas with us, they can call us, and talk about what’s going on in their lives.

U.G. Digital Mag: This is also why you have been so successful. What you do allows them to be the best at their professions, and the most important thing is they are consistently working.

Coko Lynn: Yes, they are. That’s the amazing part about it. They are motivated and passionate. When you want something and you’re trying to achieve something in your life you have to put yourself first. You have to put that work in for yourself. You have to depend more in yourself than other people. When you’re working hard for yourself, and someone sees that dedication and passion, they’ll want to work even harder.

U.G. Digital Mag: What are you most proud of with your agency?

Coko Lynn: I’m most proud that we are a family. I can’t stress it enough. It’s teamwork and everyone is working together and communicating. Communication is a primary factor when it comes to a lot of what we do. I’m blessed that we can make things happen for each other.

U.G. Digital Mag: I can tell from talking to everyone that they love you and love what you can do. When I spoke with the fellas from En-Effable, you could hear in their voices how much they really care for you.

knowing how to do something. I never want to be in a position where I have to wait for someone to do something that I can do myself. I appreciate the relationship that you have with your clients, and the relationship that you and I have been able to build. You’re inspiring so many people and you’re providing wisdom in to something that so many people want to do.

Coko Lynn: Especially our younger generation. That was it all on TV, and they want to be stars. I get it, but it’s a lot of hard work that comes along with it. Some people are blessed to be an overnight success, and that’s exactly what it is: a blessing. There’s also people who don’t make it until later in life. You can’t ever give up though. You never know when your season is. People want to give up all the time, but you don’t know whose lives your touching as you push forward. You never know how you’re blessing people. I’ve done a lot of things that people are still praying to do, so I appreciate everything I’ve been blessed to do. It’s a lot of people still praying for this. A lot of people are praying to be on a movie set. You have to appreciate every little opportunity.

U.G. Digital Mag: Talk about overall direction for bright star?

Coko Lynn: Growth. There’s a lot happening this next year, and it’s going to be good. There’s so many opportunities coming up for our clients. We’re doing some amazing things, and we’re happy and blessed with the growth from everyone.

Coko Lynn: I appreciate them too. They are so motivated, and they’re pushing it. They’re moving forward. Sometimes it’s hard and a lot of people think it happens overnight. You have to put that work in. It’s hard, but as long as you passionate and motivated, it will eventually happen. When I started Bright Star Talent, I literally walked out on faith. I’ve been in the industry for over twenty years and I’ve done it all. Modeling, acting, and I also do music, sing, write, I’ve instructed, taught acting, and worked for agencies in casting, production, and behind the scenes. I have children too, so I’ve been that mom-manager. I’ve been through it all. When you’re in the field that you have passion for, it’s not work. To be able to teach someone not tomato the same mistakes is amazing. I love helping people. I’ve always been like that and I know I get it from my parents. Watching my dad have that heart to help people, I’ve always wanted to help people. Telling people your testimony is amazing and it’s a blessing.

U.G. Digital Mag: That testimony is what helps people. I’m glad you went more into what you’ve done. I know we spoke a little about that before, and I think it’s what makes you so well-rounded. You know every facet of this business, and it’s good because if you need something done, you know how to do it. It’s the same thing that makes UGD work. Obviously, I’m the publisher, and I do a lot of the writing, interviewing, and so on. I know the design piece very well, and I know the marketing and PR side of it all.

It helps because I’m never in a position of not
