Urban Grandstand Digital Special Edition Faith Evans | Page 3

EDITOR'SNOTE

I can't even begin to express how honored, and excited I am to be paying tribute to the one and only Faith Evans. There's so many different reasons why I chose to put something like this together, but the biggest reason of all it quite simple. Faith is by far my favorite singer, and has been since the very beginning. No question, there's many others I like, but Faith Evans: she's that one. There's so much fire, passion, and raw emotion in this album that I've never been able to put it down, and I know there's millions of fans out there who feel the same way. It's been twenty years now, and the album still plays like it just released yesterday. To me, it only makes sense for something like this to be done. Actually having the platform and the ability to pull it off makes it even better. Faith is one of only a few artists who have been able to pull off a feat such as this. Relevance is something we all know fades for most after so long, but Faith has been able to maintain that relevance and release powerful music without compromising the art, or herself. I think that in itself makes Faith Evans deserving of something like this.

In this special issue of Urban Grandstand Digital, we open the floodgates with everything about her debut album! We give you the credits, talk about the singles, get into the remixes, and we actually caught up with a few of the power-players who helped out with this album! We've got exclsuive interviews with Prince Charles Alexander, who helmed "Love Don't Live Here Anymore", Herb Middleton who was behind the controls on "Don't Be Afraid", and finally, we caught up with Q Parker, who has not only worked with Faith on numerous occasion, but was also 1/4 of the supergroup 112! So with no further delay, we give you #ALittleBitOfFaith
