The reviews
What’s most exciting about Chip’s success is the idea that he’s shining a much-needed light on Cleveland and it’s often forgotten hip-hop scene. Obviously, we’ve
had a number of names in hip-hop, from Bone Thugs and Kid Cudi to Ray Cash
and Machine Gun Kelly, but Chip is taking it all to the next level. The respect he’s
gained within the industry, coupled with the fact that he’s still very much embedded in the city, is only strengthening the local hip-hop scene and making others
want to know more about our artists. It makes the album title even more special
because the goal, at least in my mind, is for Clevekand to become the next Cali!
So many want to get away from the city for dreams of greater success, but sooner
than later, Cleveland will become that mecca for hip-hop success.
Even with the large guest list that inundates “CleveLAfornia”, Chip still stands
strong on his own. His simplistic, yet often thought-provoking flow makes for an
enjoyable project.

With guest appearances from the likes of Chuck Inglish, Fredo Santana, Anderson.Paak, Big Sean, and Hopsin, King Chip has released his new EP, “CleveLAfornia”. Chip has built a solid foundation for himself over the past 13 years and
he shines bright throughout the album on tracks like “High School Reunion”, “So
Slow”, “Oh”, and “Naw Bruh” with Project Pat.
