TRAINING FITNESS TIP: SET A SCHEDULE, BUT BE REALISTIC 3 If you have not been working out much this spring & winter, do not write down that you will do outdoor cardio exercises for 30 minutes a day, six days a week. You will only find yourself getting frustrated and will be more likely to give up on your workout program. Post your exercise plan in places you will look frequently, like the calendar app on your smartphone or at your desk at work. TRAINING FITNESS TIP: CLEAN OUT YOUR PANTRY 4 You are more likely to stick with your plan if you have a partner in crime. Choose someone who has similar goals and whose schedule fits with your own. Your best bet: Get together at the same time four days a week, whether it is before work or just before dinner. Join your local Group Fitness Facility, YMCA, Recreation Center, or even hit the parks and trails, where it is possible to meet like-minded individuals with similar goals.
