The Editor....

Welcome, and thank you for joining us for our new issue of Urban Grandstand Digital. While we regret that it took us a little longer to get this issue to you, it was all for good reason. There was so much that we wanted to bring you this time around, and in the 12th hour, we got word of a few last minute features that we really wanted to get you now, as opposed to stretching it another month.

I'm proud to say that we've got some pretty powerful features this issue. Immediately upon launching the new column Kickin' it with the Legends, we secured features with both Miche'le, who has been an integral part of the R&B Divas LA cast, and rapper Rah Digga, who has found a new passion in teaching hip-hop history-fueled courses in her hometown of Newark, New Jersey. Both these ladies were perfect for the column, which is geared to pay homage to the entertainment figures who have paved the way for today's successful figures, and each has done just that.

Our cover feature is one of grandeur, one of inspiration, one of sheer excitement on our part. We feature none other than Joy Villa, who is currently making waves all over entertainment. We get the opportunity to speak with Joy about her career, which believe it or not, is really just beginning to blow. While it may seem like she's an overnight success, Joy has been working a long time at building her brand, and it's finally paying off. We touch on everything from her much talked-about Grammy Awards dress to her singing career which is really taking off, and we also talk about her upcoming opportunity to walk in LA FAshion Week!

In the line of Sports, we sent one of our esteemed writers, Lorans R. Jones, out to cover the Arnold Classic Festival in Columbus, Ohio, and the content he brought back is nothing short of amazing.

For Health & Fitness, we bring you the next installment of our column provided by Cleveland's NuLife Fitness owner Miesha Wilson.

There's so much more in this new issue, and we're definitely excited to see it all come together. Much of the content you will find here in the magazine centers around one central theme, which is following your dreams. That point comes across especially nice in our feature with Actor Jay Ellis of BET's The Game. Aside from discussing the upcoming final season of the top-rated sitcom, we also have a great conversation in regards to following your dreams, and doing what makes you happy in life. Definitely a great read!

We've been very blessed in the content that we've been able to present to you, and we remain grateful to you; our readers, for joining in with us each and every month.
