James Johnson: So what has been the reaction of everyone on cast now, given the show has done so well, and you’re starting the third season. People are craving the show in a way that they’re upset it takes 6 months for it to come back.

Angela Robinson: We don’t like it either that it takes so long. Primarily because we enjoy working on the show and enjoy each other’s company. We enjoy being around Mr. Perry. His energy is so great and we enjoy all of that, so when we’re done, we’re all wondering when we get to come back. We enjoy it so we don’t like the wait either. But we all have careers, and all do so many other things. This is such a great opportunity to do a show that is so well-received, but also allows you the time to pursue other things that you love and other parts of your career. It’s a win-win situation focus. We get together when we can off-season. We’re the same though; impatiently waiting (laughing). Also understanding that we have not seen it either. We’re still waiting to see it. Obviously we recorded it and worked on it, but we haven’t seen it. We’re excited to see how it turns out, too.

James Johnson: That is so cool. So obviously season 2 left off with a few cliff-hangers, and I figure I may as well jump right into that. Obviously, Jim gets dragged off, you've got the things going on with Candace, and the things going on with your husband! Where does that take us? I know there’s only so much that you can reveal….

Angela Robinson: Yes, so all of that takes you to your couch at 9pm (laughing)

James Johnson: Now that’s not fair Angela... (laughing)

Angela Robinson: I promise this: It’s going to be worth every moment that you waited. Jim, the issue with Candace, getting payback, the issue with my husband, will he, won’t he, should he, sleep with Maggie? All of that will be revealed January 6. There’s a lot of new things, too. You still don’t know who got shot.

James Johnson: It’s funny you say that, because my wife and I saw a commercial the other day, and she mentioned someone wasn't coming back, but I thought I saw everyone in the clip. We’re trying to figure that out.

Angela Robinson: I know, me too!

James Johnson: It’s crazy because we actually DVR the show because we’re not always home when it airs. It took me forever to figure out that the guy that Crystal Fox’s character was dating from the police department was really connected to Jim Cryer.

Angela Robinson: Oh, Ok…..

James Johnson: We’re definitely eager to see it all play out this season though.

Angela Robinson: Great. I have to tell Crystal you gave her such props. She’s a great person.

James Johnson: Now you’re doing some great work with the United Negro College Fund, right?

Angela Robinson: Yes. I will be there [Florence, SC] December 5 at the Gala, doing some fundraising.
