gendary Chip Fu of Fu-Schnickens Keeping with the spirit of honoring some of entertainments elite, we caught up with Chip Fu of the elementary hip-hop collective, Fu-Schnickens. A mainstay in music in the early nineties, they did much to push the envelope and bend the rules of what hip-hop was supposed to be. Built on strength and unity, they aimed to inspire the culture to be better what people knew it to be. Following their split some 5 years after things jumped off, each member went their own way in continuing to inspire the world of music. We had some time to connect with Chip about the things he’s been able to do, and the work he’s put in at rebuilding hiphop to be something that we can once again be proud of. Read along as he opens up about the group, what t means to have been here 25 years now, and how it all has grown to be something so much bigger!  ugdigital.com
