experienced.

We all were able to learn from the start the reasons why he became a police officer. Without giving too much away, what did he ultimately feel like he was accomplishing through his reaction to the things happening not only around him, but to him?

I feel it was control, he was accomplishing a sense of controlling what he felt he had the power to control.

Again, it seems to be an amazing film that fits with the times of today. I know it has done well at several film festivals. When can the rest of the world expect to see the film?

I know Director Cory Bowles and Producer Aaron Horton are exploring some options but hopefully audiences around the world can see it sooner rather than later. Stay tuned.

Talk about how this character fit into your vision for yourself as an actor?

This character had such arch, and went through quite the transformation throughout the film. It was an amazing opportunity to be a storyteller and that’s what I want to do is tell truthful, compelling stories.

You were also in “A Bullet for Adolf”, which is directed by Woody Harrelson. His name alone speaks volumes, but I’d love for readers to know more about the theatre production and your role.

It was such an amazing experience to work so closely with an A-list actor. What I appreciate most about him is how humble and easygoing he is. It taught me a lot about how I want to conduct myself with others.

What’s cool is you’ve also been able to adapt to the small screen with roles in The Firm, The Strain, Dark Matter, and so much more. What other things do you feel like you would do to challenge your craft of acting?

The thing I always go back to is theatre, it has been one of my greatest teachers and continues to challenge me as an actor

Let’s talk about other projects. What new things are you working on at the moment?

I am appearing on Star Trek: Discovery and currently working on a new BET legal drama called In Contempt.

What things can we expect to see from you in the near future?

Star Trek and In Contempt :)

Any words of encouragement for readers who also aspire to act?

Enjoy the process, remember why you wanted to act in the first place and remember and some point you wanted to do it for free so have fun. Each of our individual journeys are different, stay true to your path and good things will happen

Any final comments?

I just want to thank Cory Bowles and Aaron Horton for the opportunity to take part in this amazing project (Black Cop) and to you guys for having me.
