U.G. Digital Mag: I look at this project, and miss those days of reading credits. So much has gone digital. It’s a good thing, but there’s a lot that’s not there anymore. I miss those days of putting names to the face. I also still go back to not buying a lot because of the content, but you guys have a solid project. It’s doing good in a climate where music is not selling. A lot of artists release music almost knowing it won’t sell. This sells on it’s own because its dope. Have you been able to track the success yourselves?

Young Giantz: Honestly, we haven’t gotten much back yet, but it looks like things are going good. It’s not about the money for us. We’ve been doing this for so long that it’s not about that for us. We just want to make real music because it makes us feel good. We step into the studio and let the rhythm take us. We’re just trying to make good music consistently. For you to feel it the way you do is a good feeling. We’re not here just with the purpose of selling records. This is just our EP. This leads up to our next album “Fleetwood Brohmm”. We can’t wait for the world to hear what that sounds like. If it was for the money, we wouldn’t be having this conversation. It’s for the love of the music.

U.G. Digital Mag: But that’s why the appreciation level is high from so many people because they see the authenticity in you guys. Now that the EP is out, are there shows coming?

Young Giantz: We’re working on shows for sure, and we have some hard copies coming. We want to tour forever. Like the Rolling Stones, or Led Zeppelin. We

plan on doing shows for sure with

this project, and the music that’s

coming in the future. It gives us

that opportunity to interact with

the people, shake hands, and for us,

it’s so much better than money.

Touring is definitely in the works.

U.G. Digital Mag: I’m looking

forward to it man. I know how

much obviously went into putting

this together. I appreciate you guys

for the overall quality. I love the

album and what you represent

for hip-hop. A lot has drifted to

the side. I think back 25 years ago

with priority. I was 15 when Priority

started jumping, so I’ve seen the

history. You guys are really

forwarding that history. I think

we’re slowly getting back to that

period where the artist really

cares about the stuff they are

putting out.

Young Giantz: That’s the motto

we are living by. For you to like

our music the way you do, that’s

like the greatest compliment. For

so long, we get feedback that says

we’re too this, or we’re too that, or

you need a feature. We’re just

sticking with family and people

we like. We’ll keep growing, and it

ain’t no stopping. As long as we’re breathing and blood is pumping through our hearts, music will be coming form the Young Giants.

U.G. Digital Mag: And that’s why things continue to go good for you. You guys are being yourselves, and that goes so far. I appreciate you guys for this. Where can we send everyone to keep up with you fellas?

Young Giantz: Definitely www.younggiantz.com, and on social media, it’s @younggiantz, and Twitter is @younggiantz1. Be on the lookout for “FleetwoodBrohmm”. Everything is coming together real smooth.
