U.G. Digital Mag: What’s happening fellas….

Young Giantz: Everything is great!

U.G. Digital Mag: I think it’s dope to get you guys together.

Young Giantz: No doubt man, it’s all love. Thanks for having us.

U.G. Digital Mag: One of the biggest things is you’re making major history. 25 years of Priority Records, and now your album is going strong. You’re walking in heavy footsteps in regards to family having done this. What’s it like to follow behind the history that has been set?

Young Giantz [Bigg Joe West]: It’s a beautiful feeling to add to the history, with our father being part, and Snoop, Dre, and Cube. We’re excited to add our contribution to the legacy. We add to them, and it gets no better.

U.G. Digital Mag: I think with this album, it’s really so dope. I’m one who doesn’t buy a lot of music, and I’m also one of those who are hard to please but this is one of the first albums in a long time that I’m happy about. I pair you guys with some of the artists who have been doing it for years. 13 tracks and I can listen from start to finish. The entire album is dope. What went into it?

Young Giantz: Our pops taught us to give back and go hard. He said to not only take from the game, but give to the game. We try to teach without preaching, and give back with the gift. God gave us the gift, so we try to bless people with it and give them back something they can learn from and enjoy at the same time. We stay true to where we came from. Pops always instilled that in us. Don’t take advantage. Use it for better and not just yourself, but to better the lives of others. To add onto that, music is a vibration. We used to be so excited to buy music, read the credits, and know the producers. We want people to feel our music. We were conscious of making that choice, so when you get somebody like Jelly Roll, and Day One, they care about the music they make. When you put that together, it vibrates the world.
