Small Businesses
Small businesses are having a tough time in this economy. With little advertisment and unappealing locations, small businesses have little chances of surviving. These businesses filing for bankruptcy will result in hundreds of empty stores and dreams being destroyed.
Without these small businesses, the economy will not recover from the recession. If this trend of small businesses filing bankruptcy increases, then there will be only seven or eight major businesses that will be competing against each other. Then sooner or later, one of those big businesses will also file for bankruptcy until consumers only buy from one giant business.
To end this, we must support these small businesses. We cannot let one business become a monopoly. If we want to recover from this recession, our goal has to be to make small businesses more widely known. If this is not achieved, people will lose their businesses, but worst of all their dreams of owning a store will be destroyed.
