Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis Introduces the Unique Magic
of Books and the Authors Who Create Them
New readers and book enthusiasts will have an opportunity to first hand learn about the back story of books that entertain, inform and inspire
at the Urban Expo’s Literary Corner. Authors will make their experiences portable magic. Urban Expo attendees will come face to face with the
author. Through personalized autographs and panel discussions, readers will galvanize their relationship with the authors through an exciting
question and answer period. These authors collectively will help you understand and help you feel understood through their creative narratives
from what motivated them to write their book to the lessons to be learned in the stories they share.
Robyn Boyce, veteran radio producer and host of the cable show, “City Corner”, will moderate a discussion with the authors and Timothy Lam-
pley, Emmy Award winning producer and talent, will prompt questions from the audience. Great team of journalists.
This contrast and unique alternative to the fast paced electronic society in which we live will reintroduce to some and reinforce the love of
books for others. You are invited to escape into the experiences of books. The only important thing in a book is the meaning that it has for you.
Our authors will take you to a wonderful place at an event where you will leave empowered.
