Greenhouse- A structure enclosed in transparent glass or plastic.
Common uses include managing temperature, humidity, light.
Polytunnel- A semicircular tunnel that consists of a frame covered
wi th pol yethyl ene sheets. Common uses i ncl ude mani pul ati ng
temperature and humidity as well as protecting plants from the
weather.
Shadehouse- Consists of a frame covered in a cloth material that is
used to moderate temperature, light, and precipitation.
Shed- A simple structure used for storage or workspace.
Cob- A building material consisting of clay, sand, water and organic
fibers. Common uses include constructing structures, furniture and
ovens.
Solar Dehydrator- Captures and circulates heat from the sun in order
to dry organic materials.
