Geography:
Southern South America, bordering the South Atlantic Ocean, between Argentina and Brazil. Uruguay is mostly rolling plains and low hills and fertile coastal grassland. There isn ' t really any high elevation at all that is seen and is mostly flat. It is the second smallest south American country and is comparable to the size of the state of Washington in the United States. The largest river contained within Uruguay is the Rio Negro.
Climate:
Uruguay is known for comfortable summertime temperatures. Throughout the year, Uruguay never becomes completely cold to an uncomfortable point. During spring and winter, the weather is colder and there is more rain than in other times of the year. During the winter, temperatures usually never dip below 40 degrees. No matter when you fell like traveling to Uruguay, you will be sure to not be disappointed by the weather
