Doing the most trying time in your life, what was it and what got you through? The most trying time of my life was my husband being diagnosed with stage 4 leukemia about 4 years ago. Our lives changed in the blink of an eye. We went from traveling and living life to hospital rooms and chemotherapy sessions. Our faith was definitely tested but we lived by faith! Regardless of what the doctors predicted would happen, he may have been in control medically but we knew that he was not in control ultimately! My husbands will to live inspired me to never give up regardless of what it looks like. After 12 chemo sessions, 43 procedures, over 200 days in the hospital and one bone marrow transplant later, we are living life to the fullest, growing both of our businesses cancer free! Will Hush one day become a storefront? I don't really have a desire to have a storefront right now for a number of reasons. My equation works for me, the prices can stay low, no overhead and I have the ability to reach the world thru the internet. Between my fashion shows, pop up shopping parties, event vending and the online boutique, HUSH has will maintain its presence in the marketplace. Of course, the brick and mortar option is always on the table, whenever the numbers, ecommerce trends, our shopping trends change. I understand versatility and will adapt as needed.
