7. Who maintains control of the funds?
As a federally compliant 501(c)(3) non-profit, the Executive Director assists the Treasurer and the
Board of Directors to control, maintain, and monitor all financial activity of RESCU. All 990ʼs are
public record and available by request, as well as located at www.Guidestar.com.
8. How much help was given in the last five (5) years (2013 2017)?
— RESCU received almost 500 medical aid form submissions. Over 300 qualified for Advocacy
Program assistance.
— Over $500,000 in financial assistance was disbursed.
— Our Advocacy Program directly eliminated over $2.1 Million in medical bills and helped
educate clients on how to navigate the modern health care system on their own.
— RESCU continues to arrange, onsite at multiple shows, Free Medical Clinics that treated over
100 participants in 2017 alone!
9. Why should I donate if there is no specific recipient?
This ensures that any participant, such as those who work hard at a show (though not on stage), or
own or staff a shop, receives the same opportunity for aid as, perhaps, an entertainer of high profile,
if in the same medical dilemma.
10. How can I help?
Write a review of RESCU or a personal testimonial at www.Guidestar.com. Select the RESCU
Foundation as your charity of choice when you search the internet with GoodSearch, or purchase
items through AmazonSmiles or Giving Assistant. Donating time, money, or new and used items for
our events also helps. Help out at a rally or outside event, or volunteer to help with online research
or phone projects from your home.

Care to join a committee to help plan on a national level? Want to be an Advocate? Go to our

Monday Breakfast Meeting and join in! Leave a message at 800.374.9215 and we will connect you
with the right person, we can always use motivated and responsible volunteers. What ideas do you
