Because of COVID-19 , he said , “ Housekeeping is checking and rechecking . There ’ s no early check in and check out .” Sanitation requirements necessitate more time to get into the rooms prior to having them reoccupied , he said .
As for activities at the resort , Rogers said , “ A lot of people create their own activities . Many people hit the four-wheel trail . Fishing seems to be secondary . Families like to relax , get away , read a book and watch the sunset .”
Father Hennepin State Park nearby attracts many of the visitors , Rogers said .
