A Variety of Up North Restaurants Offer Tasty Menu Alternatives

Your vacation time Up North may be filled with sumptuous meals of fresh-caught fish , grilled burgers and hot dogs , and s ’ mores toasted over a campfire .
But maybe your taste buds are craving some variety – a little spice , perhaps ? Numerous choices are at hand .
Sanchez Burrito , LITTLE FALLS Sanchez Burrito in Little Falls invites customers to customize their meals . Yunior Sanchez , a native of Honduras , runs the family-owned restaurant that opened in October 2018 in Low Bea ’ s Plaza near Little Falls Community Middle School on Highway 27 .
“ I ’ ve been a cook for 10 years ,” Sanchez said . “ I grew up in a family with four brothers , and my mom taught us to cook . I was working with a friend who has a restaurant before I opened this shop .”
Sanchez said he decided to open the restaurant in Little Falls because he liked the area . “ It ’ s quiet ,” he said . “ I like to be in Central Minnesota . I like hiking and being around the lakes .”
His brother and three more employees , plus family members , help him turn out the burritos , burrito bowls , quesadillas , and tacos from 10:30 a . m . to 9 p . m . each day .
“ We use mostly family recipes ,” Sanchez said . “ The most popular items are burritos and quesadillas .”
Customers may pick their own meats from a list of eight , plus a choice of toppings from a list of 18 possibilities .
The restaurant ’ s focus is service , according to Sanchez . “ We want to make sure people get what they want ,” he said . “ We want to make customers happy and feel welcome .”
He enjoys bringing orders to the table , to make sure that the customers are pleased with what they ordered , Sanchez said .
He ’ s found the current food climate difficult , with suppliers ’ prices changing weekly for onions , peppers , tomatoes , and other food items . “ We still
