Geocaching Another fun way to explore Up North is to go geocaching, which is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting activity where participants use GPS coordinates to find hidden containers, or geocaches, and log their visit.
All you need to do to get started is go to Geocaching. com and sign up for a free membership. Once you create and verify your account, you’ ll have access to coordinates for hundreds of geocaches in the area.
Enter the coordinates of a specific geocache into your GPS device or use their handy mobile app on your Android or iOS device and you’ re on your way! Once you find the geocache, leave your name in the log, then replace it for the next group of explorers.
