Pine Peaks Gifts & Décor, Crosslake Sonia Slack and her husband, Joel, have owned their gift store for 18 years, in conjunction with their 39-year-old restaurant. They have 22 employees.
“ My husband and I bought the restaurant in 1985,” Sonia said.“ We didn’ t plan on being here 40 years later, but it keeps us busy. We try to do Up North décor, Crosslake sweaters and T-shirts.”
