Task
I co-ordinated tactical and strategic decision making between response staff , senior stakeholders and customers .
Action
I paid particular attention to the competing demands of different stakeholders including the emergency services . This required careful co-ordination in order to achieve an accurate provision of information for service start-up impacts to passengers , as well as ensuring a timely hand back of the site .
Result
My actions allowed those involved in the tactical management of the incident to focus on their tasks , whilst I was able to plan with TOCs / FOCs of how best to manage service start-up around the recovery of the site back to operation .
Reflection
Through this experience I gained a better understanding of how to effectively support site activities and manage the expectations of other stakeholders in exceptionally challenging circumstances .
