After narrowly beating France in the last game of this year’s tournament Ireland secured the title as England’s high score in Italy proved to be not enough.

Engine problems dominate the Grand Prix as Mercedes and McLaren run riot
Mercedes’ Rosberg sat atop of the podium with McLaren’s Magnussen and Button securing second and third. But the racing was at times outdone by the engine problems including that of both Hamilton and Vettel who were forced to retire early on.
Chelsea Fly the Flag for England in the Champions League
Chelsea easily made their way into the quarter finals of this year’s competition as Drogba was denied a dream return to Stamford Bridge. A 2-0 win on the night sent Chelsea through with an aggregate score of 3-1 against Turkey’s Galatasaray.
Murray and Lendl part ways
Andy Murray has taken the decision to get rid of his current coach Ivan Lendl after two years of working with the ex-tennis star. In this time Murray managed to win his first 2 majors, also winning the Olympic gold in London.
