a GPA of less than 70 %( ranging from 60-69 %) or a letter grade of( D) and meeting the conditions for admission above may be admitted with specific conditions( please contact the Admissions Department).
PROMOTION TO MEDICAL PROGRAMS
The number of clinical placements is limited and formal advancement once in the program is competitive. Only the most qualified foundation students will be promoted. To be considered for advancement to the first year of the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery program and Bachelor of Dental Surgery program, a student must successfully complete the foundation courses( Chemistry,
Human Biology, Physics, Introduction to Medical Sciences, Medical English I) with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average( CGPA) of 2.5 and a CGPA of( 2.5) in Chemistry and Biology.
TRANSFER STUDENT REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the general University requirements, transfer students must provide the following documents:
• Certified copy of transcripts
• Certified copy of detailed course descriptions( courses taken by the student)
• University accreditation letter from the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research in the UAE( for students who studied outside the UAE)
