The program is based around practical studio and workshop-based projects, using hand and machine processes that become increasingly self-directed as a student progresses through the program, giving them the freedom to develop their own creative means of expression and invention in their designs.

The College of Fine Arts and Design has developed superior state-of-theart technical facilities for the production and presentation of creative work in digital media, film,

Our College’ s MAC and PC computing labs have an array of relevant software and hardware for video editing, 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional imagemaking and animation, audio post production, and other innovative purposes in computer-based Fine Arts and Design. We have a range of digital video and still photography cameras, lenses, and audio recording equipment, with a range of related support systems, for the purpose of learning and practice in location and studio production. The College facilitates AVID-, MAC and PC-based post production in professionalstyle individual studios and learning labs, a multifunctional performance and production studio, and a special theater for the high quality presentation of work. The quality and scope of the College’ s facilities are incomparable to any other in the UAE. |
