Bachelor of Sharia( Jurisprudence and its Foundations)
This program is designed to give students a deep understanding of religion as based on the foundations of Islam, the Holy Quran, and Sunnah so that the honorable principles of Sharia may be put into good practice as guided by the Prophet Muhammad( PBUH). The department seeks to prepare specialists in the Sharia sciences, qualify graduates to meet the professional needs of the local, regional, and global Islamic society, and prepare graduates for continued graduate or postgraduate studies.
Bachelor of Sharia( Sharia and Law)
• Instilling in students a strong Islamic character and deep understanding of Islam, based upon the foundations of Islam( the Holy Quran and Sunnah), an understanding of Sharia principles, and a commitment to good practices and following those of the Prophet Muhammed( PBUH).
• Preparing specialists in the various branches and specializations of the Sharia sciences, including jurisprudence and its foundations, the judiciary, and personal status, who are well versed with today’ culture, contemporary society, the meaning of stability and developments in Islam and who are able to utilize the latest technologies and innovative practices.
GRADUATE PROGRAMS
The College of Sharia and Islamic Studies provides postgraduate education in exegesis, hadith, and jurisprudence and its foundations so that qualified graduates may take on leading roles in society and at judicial, educational and da’ wah institutions. As a postgraduate in these areas you will gain the background to take part in implementing UAE plans for development and progress in the areas of Sharia and Islamic affairs.
