COLLEGE OF PHARMACY
The College of Pharmacy seeks to provide a high quality and intellectually challenging education for its students in pharmacology and pharmaceutics and to prepare competent graduates to take part in the pharmaceutical healthcare system. The College is committed to providing the latest in health science education, conducting research and preparing future health professionals to contribute effectively to health welfare in the UAE and region.
FIRST SHARJAH TEACHING HOSPITAL
The Sharjah Teaching Hospital, the first of its kind in the UAE, is centrally located alongside the College of Medicine and College of Health Sciences in the University’ s Medical and Health Sciences Complex. It is anticipated that the hospital will

become recognized as a leading world class teaching hospital in the region offering the latest in health care, education, and training.
The hospital is intended to serve as a major educational component of the University and will provide students studying medicine and health sciences with the opportunity to participate in a clinical environment. The teaching hospital has already formed a strong partnership with the Colleges of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy and a highly collaborative partnership with the College of Health Sciences in the areas of nursing, allied health and health service management.

The Sharjah Teaching Hospital will provide clinical and medical services to the Sharjah community and others seeking high quality medical treatment. It will provide first-class facilities, personnel, and medical technology in an environment characterized by professionalism.
OUTSTANDING DENTAL SERVICES CENTER
The Dental Services Center will be located within the Sharjah Teaching Hospital Complex. The Center’ s robust 114 dental chair facility will provide a wide range of dental care services to the Sharjah community and beyond.
Dental care will be largely

free of charge with services provided by advanced dental students under the close supervision of qualified dental professionals. Paid services will also be available for those opting to be treated privately by their preferred dentist or dental specialist.
The Dental Service Center will further provide urgent treatment services in association with various teaching hospital divisions, giving particular attention to the treatment of complex facial and jaw reconstructive surgery.
The Center will undoubtedly represent a valuable asset to the Sharjah community and most certainly contribute toward improving dental health in the UAE.
UNIVERSITY DENTAL HOSPITAL- SHARJAH
The University Dental Hospital Sharjah( UDHS) is the first and largest dental hospital in the UAE, the Gulf and the region. This hospital is linked to the Faculty of Dentistry, which was founded in 2004 at the compound of the medical colleges and health sciences. It is built according to the latest international standards where the 114 dental clinics are equipped with the latest modern medical technology that is unrivaled by any other dentistry hospital in the world.

There are 3 specialized centers in the UDHS, Laser Dental Center, Dental Implants Center, and Root Canal Treatment Center, in addition to a special clinic for oral health care of diabetic patients. The hospital also includes a well equipped dental laboratory.
