Student Support Services
As part of our ongoing development, a comprehensive and elaborate group of support services have been established to ease student transition to the University and provide the needed support and academic resources for students to excel in their studies at UOS.
We provide numerous services and facilities for students to take advantage of at the University. These include, campus houses dormitories, medical and counseling clinics, transportation facilities, shops, restaurants, coffee shops, male and female sports complexes, theatres, social, cultural and other extra-curricular activities, technologically advanced libraries and laboratories, conferences halls, and much more.
The University’ s campus is beautifully landscaped with green lawns and a variety of trees and flowering bushes, providing an atmosphere conducive to innovation and creativity. The architectural design of the campus reflects harmony and inspires contemplation through its strong reflection of Arab and Islamic culture, history, and traditions. Most buildings are interconnected, making it easier for you to get from one college to the next.
ACADEMIC PROGRAM GUIDANCE
The Enrollment Management and Academic Guidance Unit( EMAG) is one of the first specialized units locally and regionally, aiming to provide academic guidance to high school students. EMAG has developed elaborate e-programs designed to assist prospective students in determining the most suitable major and program to match their interests and talents. High school and campus visits, open days and academic counseling are integral to the role of EMAG.
