Learning is a process of sharing knowledge with one another , and one that never stops . The ‘ New EF CoP ’ weaves a community of EF faculty from across UNSW to share knowledge and experiences , as well as learn from each other to enrich ourselves and the educational mission at UNSW .
Our community creates a respectful and supportive environment for new EFs to openly discuss challenges and , support each other in finding creative solutions . It is a community where everyone is allowed to share their ideas and access a wealth of perspectives , resources and knowledge which enhance their pedagogical approach . Within the community we provide guidance on the navigation of EF role , university structure and the broader tertiary educational system .
Our culture emphasises mutual learning that recognises the unique experiences and expertise of each member . Overall , our community aims to pursue excellence individually in our classrooms but also collectively across UNSW as academics . As educators , we remain students at some level and , continue to seek opportunities to learn from each another .
