Learning is a process of sharing knowledge with one another, and one that never stops. The‘ New EF CoP’ weaves a community of EF faculty from across UNSW to share knowledge and experiences, as well as learn from each other to enrich ourselves and the educational mission at UNSW.
Our community creates a respectful and supportive environment for new EFs to openly discuss challenges and, support each other in finding creative solutions. It is a community where everyone is allowed to share their ideas and access a wealth of perspectives, resources and knowledge which enhance their pedagogical approach. Within the community we provide guidance on the navigation of EF role, university structure and the broader tertiary educational system.
Our culture emphasises mutual learning that recognises the unique experiences and expertise of each member. Overall, our community aims to pursue excellence individually in our classrooms but also collectively across UNSW as academics. As educators, we remain students at some level and, continue to seek opportunities to learn from each another.
