Challenges
There are challenges, especially with the low percentage of women in the field. Balancing work and family life is tough, but I find it rewarding. I emphasise resilience and determination as key qualities for success and encourage others to explore the various roles in construction, despite societal expectations.
Why This Role
I chose this role because of the diverse opportunities it offers. The construction industry allows me to switch between different tasks, making each day unique. I also believe in the importance of men and women working together, complementing each other’ s strengths, which is something the industry needs more of.
