Sarah Dimitrievski

Director

Chandolin Construction
Introduction
My name’ s Sarah Dimitrievski. I’ m the director of Chandolin Construction, a company that has been operating for about nine years.
I’ m on a mission to bring more women into construction and to shake up the way we build in Australia. I’ m incredibly passionate about creating space for women in this industry, not just to participate, but to lead, innovate, and thrive.
Over the past year, I’ ve dedicated myself to researching innovative building techniques that could transform how we deliver housing. I recently took a team overseas in search of smarter, faster, and more sustainable construction solutions. What we found was nothing short of inspiring and I’ m now focused on bringing those ideas back to Australia to help tackle the housing crisis head-on.
As Director of Chandolin Construction, I’ ve always believed in getting on the tools alongside my team. From demolition to scheduling, I love the hands-on nature of this work, but what drives me most is the opportunity to create real change in an industry that’ s ready for it.
The Role
As the director of Chandolin Construction, I involve overseeing the entire operation. We predominantly build, but my role in the industry is to oversee the whole lot. I enjoy being on-site with the team, participating in various tasks from demolition to scheduling. This hands-on approach not only keeps me engaged but also allows me to manage the business effectively.
