An early prototype was developed in 2022 . Focus groups of researchand education-focused academics , professional staff and HDR students provided invaluable feedback to improve its user experience , functionality and promote engagement . This informed the development of a proof-of-concept . UNSW IT , who provide central support for the app , is now considering rolling out the app university-wide . Integrating it with existing enterprise platforms and systems will enable more agile research partnerships , expansive communities of practice , and cross-disciplinary teaching initiatives .
tACT facilitates a greater understanding of the University ’ s depth and breadth of expertise , as well as enabling the sharing of concepts , methods , materials and much more .
